The Umarex PAC 400 PerformanceAir Compressor is a compact battery-powered compressor for small high-pressure applications up to 300 bar. In a paintball context, it is best suited for controlled single fills, pressure tests and service work on small HP systems – for example at home, in the workshop, in a team room or in a shop service area.

Its main advantage is not high-volume field filling or fast air supply for many players. For that, a professional field filling station is the correct solution. The PAC 400 is a mobile support unit for small air volumes, technical checks, regulator testing, leak checks and function testing after maintenance.

Power is supplied by an 18 V / 5.2 Ah Li-ion battery compatible with the Makita standard. With the optional battery adapter set, the compressor can also be used with common battery platforms from Black & Decker, Bosch, Einhell, Metabo and Parkside. This makes it flexible to use when mains power is not directly available.

The shut-off pressure can be set precisely in 1 bar increments. Once the selected fill pressure is reached, the unit shuts off automatically. The clear display shows the relevant parameters, while the temperature protection circuit supports controlled operation. Oil-free and water-free operation, together with an easily replaceable filter sponge, keeps handling straightforward.

The pressure hose uses a fixed Foster connector. Adapters for M10, M10x1 and 1/8 inch are included. This makes the PAC 400 relevant for users who want to fill or test small compressed-air systems in a controlled way. Actual compatibility with paintball bottles always depends on the connector, bottle volume and approved use, and should be checked before filling.
