The rifle has an aluminium case which carries the cleanly lasered G&G logos. The GC16 series is extremely ergonomic and flexible, which can be seen especially in the free-swinging hand protection.
This is made of high-quality aluminium just like the case of the rifle. Due to the free-swinging construction a higher precision can be achieved. The hand guard is in Keymod design. This means that the attachments can be mounted comfortably and at flexible locations and are held in place simply and securely by the Keymod lock.
The special feature of the ETU models can be found inside the gun. For the first time G&G uses a combination of Mosfet and electrically controlled trigger (ETU).
The Mosfet of the gun was placed in the stock and bridges the switch to the engine. The ETU is located in the gear box and controls exactly the current flow to the engine and the trigger. Together with the Dual Sector Gear a response behaviour is achieved, which even outshines Systema models.
