The Lucky 15s was founded on a the winnings of a "lucky 15" accumulator bet placed at Cheltenham where 4 horses were selected over 4 races in 2008. Each horse came in 1st, and from a £6 bet, £3500 was won.
Ainsley ( the team owner and founder) used the money to buy the team matching kit and equipment. From that day, the Lucky 15s was born and the team logo became the horse, the green being the colours of the last winning horse that day.
Since then, the team has grown in accomplishments, winning overall seasons in Millennium’s D2, D1 and Semi Pro, and have just completed their first season in Pro, NXL.
L15 taking over USA World Cup
Most recently the team were eligible to compete in the USA NXL Pro division, where they gained many followers from the USA. In their own country, Lucky 15s have dominated for 7 season’s straight; longer than any team in UK event history.
Even if they didn't make it to the finals, the Luckie's proved with their win against Russian Legion and their general performance that Europeans don't have to hide in world class paintball.

Plans for 2023
This season the team will be returning to NXL Europe to play pro, trying to win their 8th consecutive UK title, and some members of the team will be heading out to Sydney, Australia to help team Sydney SWAT out in their quest to retain their title.
